Birth Doula Services

Support and advocacy when you need it most.

In-Person, On-Call Birth Doula Services - starting at $1,000

Bringing a baby into the world is an incredible experience, and having the right support can make all the difference. As your birth doula, I’m here to provide continuous emotional, physical, and informational support before, during, and after your baby’s arrival. My goal is to help you feel confident, empowered, and cared for every step of the way.

This service consists of continuous support from the prenatal period through labor and birth, tailored to your unique needs and birth plan preferences.

What’s included:

  • Prenatal visits to discuss birth preferences, comfort measures, and labor preparation

  • Personalized birth plan guidance and education

  • Emotional and physical support during labor, including positioning, relaxation techniques, and comfort tools

  • Assistance communicating with your care team to ensure your wishes are honored

  • Partner guidance so your support person feels prepared and confident

  • Immediate postpartum support to help with the first hours after birth.

  • An in-home postpartum support visit to help adjust to life after birth
  • 10% off discount for any add-on classes or resources 

All services are fully tailored to each client’s individual needs.

Classes & Education

Knowledge, preparation, insight, and empowerment.

Partner Support Class - $150

FINALLY, a class all for the support person! 

  • Mom and support person can attend, as well as anybody planning on being there for the birth that wants to know  how to help best and what to do.

This class consists of (1) two hour session, conducted virtually or at the client’s home.

What’s included:

  • What the different stages of labor are like and practicals to help during each part
  • How to set up the birth environment to facilitate a more comfortable experience
  • How to serve the birthing mama well and with confidence
  • The do’s and don’ts of supporting a birthing mother
  • How to be an advocate and help navigate any options that arise

Natural Birth & Labor Prep Class - $150

Great for those who don’t need the full childbirth education course but want info on the best way to prep for labor (mind and body) and how to work with your body for a natural birth.
This class consists of (1) two hour session, conducted virtually or at the client’s home.

What’s included:

  • Labor positions — how different positions can facilitate a smoother labor in various situations
    • discuss things like spinning babies techniques and the miles circuit (when and how)
    • optimal body positioning during pregnancy
  • Visualization and breathing techniques
  • Tension release and relaxation exercises 
  • Non-pharmaceutical comfort measures like water, TENS, comb, etc.
  • How thoughts, fears, and what you surround yourself with affect your experience and how to reframe them

Newborn Care & Postpartum Class - $150

A lot of times, people can get so focused on the birth itself that they can find themselves neglecting to prepare for the days and weeks after the baby has arrived. This course aims to help with just that. 
This class consists of  (1) two hour session, conducted virtually or at the client’s home.

What’s included:

  • How partners can be included and what they can do to help 
  • Head to toe care including bathing, diapering (can include cloth diapering if desired), etc.
  • Breastfeeding, bottle-feeding, and pumping
  • Crying and calming techniques
  • Daily routines and sleep
  • Common new parent worries
  • Partner and family support
  • Postpartum necessities for mother and child
  • First weeks home and what to expect

Full Childbirth Education Class - $250

This class consists of  (2) three hour sessions, conducted virtually or at the client’s home.

What’s included:

  • The physiology of pregnancy
  • The mechanics, stages, and progression of labor and delivery
  • Comfort measures, pain relief, and relaxation
  • Partner’s role in birth
  • Medications and interventions available
  • Decision making and exploring options
  • Early postpartum and breastfeeding basics
  • And MORE…

Can add on other classes or resources for more education and to expand on some of the topics covered in this class

Prenatal Consultations

One-on-one, personalized consultations tailored to your unique situation.

Prenatal Q&A Consultation - $40/hour

Have some questions you want answered or need some one-on-one support? I can help with that!

What’s included:

  • Prior to the meeting, I will send several forms for you to fill out to help me better understand what your unique needs and questions may be, from which I will prepare notes to discuss during our meeting. 
  • Can include things like general childbirth education, body balancing, birth plan information and/or creation, comfort measures, partner support, postpartum care, newborn care, pain relief measures, etc.
  • After the meeting, I will review my notes and send a follow up email including personal recommendations and tailored resources so you don’t have to frantically take notes during our meeting. 

RECOMMENDED: adding on education classes- specifically the partner support classes

Postpartum Support

Get those early days off on the right foot.

Postpartum Doula Services - $30-40/hour

​In-home support for the new parent(s), including: 

  • Breastfeeding support (and/or bottle-feeding support)
  • Newborn care
  • New parent education
  • Help with emotional/physical recovery
  • Respite care
  • Light housekeeping/food preparation
  • 4-hour maximum per visit

​**GIFTING**
The best gift you can give the new parent(s) in your life. For an hourly fee, I’ll support your loved one however they need me, including the above.
